Kwara State governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has been named Deputy Vice Chairman of the PBAT 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
The marketing campaign council is scheduled to be inaugurated on Wednesday on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Also named as Deputy Vice Chairmen of the council are the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
AbdulRazaq’s appointment was greeted with pleasure in Kwara State, significantly amongst members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Reacting to the event, the state APC chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, described the appointment as a reward for loyalty and exhausting work.
The Senior Adviser and Counsellor to the governor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu, additionally described AbdulRazaq’s new position within the marketing campaign council as properly deserved.
“It’s properly deserved. Governor AbdulRazaq has over time stood solidly behind President Bola Tinubu’s administration and demonstrated dedication to his re-election in 2027.
“Therefore, our leader, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has meritoriously earned this appointment as PBAT Campaign Council Deputy Vice Chairman,” Salahu mentioned.
