The All Progressives Congress (APC) says it’s going to inaugurate President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign council on Wednesday, 14 October, because the celebration steps up preparations for the subsequent presidential election.
The celebration introduced this in a press assertion issued on Monday by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
INEC has scheduled the presidential election for 16 January, 2027.
According to the assertion, the inauguration will happen on the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) will inaugurate the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja,” the assertion mentioned.
The celebration mentioned the listing of members of the varied directorates anticipated to attend the inauguration could be launched shortly.

The Presidential Campaign Council is predicted to coordinate the APC’s campaign actions forward of the 2027 election, together with mobilising celebration members and supporters, speaking the celebration’s manifesto and the administration’s insurance policies, partaking voters throughout the nation and coordinating campaign occasions.
It can also be anticipated to oversee campaign messaging, media engagement and collaboration amongst celebration leaders, elected officers and state campaign constructions to promote Mr Tinubu’s re-election bid.
