The Federal High Court in Katsina has adjourned the case involving Dr Bashir Kurfi, a safety analyst and college lecturer, to November 4, 2026 to enable his counsel to reply to a counter-affidavit filed by the respondents.
Counsel to Kurfi, A.D. Umar, disclosed this to journalists shortly after Tuesday’s proceedings, saying the primary and third respondents served the defence with the counter-affidavit on Monday night.
He stated the defence wanted time to examine the doc and put together a response.
