The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A, Ikeja, Lagos, has foiled a wildlife trafficking try after intercepting three reside pangolins at Oyo Dam in Igbo-Ora, Ogun State.
The suspected traffickers reportedly deserted the endangered animals and fled into a close-by swamp after sighting Customs operatives throughout an anti-smuggling operation on Monday, October 12, 2026.
The interception, which occurred at about 9:05am, adopted credible intelligence acquired by officers of the unit.
