Gunmen Kill Policemen, Burn Patrol Van, Buildings

Unknown gunmen have killed two law enforcement officials and set buildings and a patrol van ablaze throughout an assault on the Uratta Police Division in Aba, Abia State.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, DSP Maureen Chinaka, mentioned the attackers assaulted the division with explosives, triggering a fireplace that broken a part of the constructing and the divisional patrol van.

She added that two law enforcement officials misplaced their lives, whereas three inspectors sustained accidents and are presently receiving medical consideration.

The command additionally clarified thawere used t the attackers carted away No firearms or ammunition had been used through the incident.

Chinaka defined that the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Wilfred Afolabi, personally led an operational crew to the world following the assault.

She mentioned the crew combed the world and restored calm, whereas intensified safety operations and monitoring continued to apprehend the attackers.

The PPRO assured that the command would deploy all essential operational and intelligence sources to establish and arrest these accountable, including that the suspects can be dropped at justice.
