Former Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, on Tuesday, arrived on the Kaduna State High Court within the firm of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Isa Mohammed Ashiru, for the continuation of his corruption trial.
El-Rufai arrived on the courtroom premises at about 11:50am forward of the resumed listening to scheduled for midday.
Security was tight across the courtroom premises as safety personnel maintained a powerful presence forward of the proceedings.
The former governor is dealing with corruption and cash laundering prices filed towards him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
