NDC accuses INEC official of issuing conflicting reports on Kano primary – Daily Trust

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State has accused an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of issuing a number of conflicting reports on its governorship primary, alleging that the paperwork misrepresented its candidates and have been being utilized in court docket proceedings in opposition to the celebration.

In a petition dated October 16, 2026, the celebration drew INEC’s consideration to the alleged conduct of Hauwa Buhari Buhari, Head of the Department of Election and Party Monitoring on the fee’s Kano workplace.

The petition, submitted via its attorneys, Tahir Chambers, was addressed to the INEC chairman via the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kano.
