The nationwide management of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has formally halted recognition of all its international chapters, withdrawing earlier approvals in compliance with a subsisting High Court judgment outlawing diaspora branches of Nigerian political events.
The choice was made public on Sunday in an official assertion signed by the occasion’s National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director Esq.
The occasion defined that its choice stems from a ruling by Justice Peter Kekemeke of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Maitama, within the swimsuit between Prof. Ali Alao v. All Progressives Congress (APC) & Anor (Suit No: CV/187/2025).
