The Police in Benue State have arrested 34 international nationals suspected of partaking in illicit actions in two Local Government Areas of the state.
State Commissioner of Police, CP Cletus Nwadiogbu, who disclosed this on Tuesday whereas parading the suspects and others arrested for numerous offences on the Command Headquarters in Makurdi, expressed concern over the rising attraction of Otukpo to international nationals whose actions have raised safety considerations.
Nwadiogbu mentioned the arrest consists of 16 Cameroonians picked up in Otukpo city of Otukpo LGA and 18 Nigeriens intercepted at Orokam in Ogbadigbo LGA on October 22.
