Prince Adewale Adebayo, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, has referred to as for the speedy release of five protesters reportedly detained in Borno State for collaborating in an illustration towards President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The protesters have been recognized as Ba’ana Grema, Mustapha Abba, Abacha Mohammed Ali, Adam Umar Gubio and Abdulhamid Mohammed.
Adebayo, in a press release issued by the Movement Adebayo for President (MAP), described their continued detention as an infringement on democratic freedoms and accused the authorities of trying to suppress opposition voices.
