Three men have been electrocuted to death in Onitsha, Anambra State, after an iron pole they had been making an attempt to erect for a water tank fell onto an 11kV electrical energy line.

Sources mentioned the incident occurred whereas the victims had been working at a compound the place the proprietor of a two-storey constructing had engaged a contractor to sink a borehole.
The victims reportedly arrived on the premises as a part of the contractor’s crew and had been making an attempt to erect the iron pole when it fell onto the overhead electrical energy line, electrocuting all three men immediately.
