President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Thursday for Makkah, Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah and pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability and progress.
The President is predicted to return to Nigeria subsequent week after finishing the Islamic non secular train.
In an announcement issued on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, mentioned Tinubu would search Allah’s steering and blessings for Nigeria and its folks.
Before leaving Abuja, Tinubu will fee gear acquired by the Nigerian Air Force on the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The Presidency mentioned the journey would give the President a chance for “spiritual reflection, devotion, and prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability, and continued progress.”
