Why we removed universities from recruitment waiver, IPPIS – Daily Trust

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mentioned the Federal Government removed universities from the requirement to acquire recruitment waivers and from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) to strengthen autonomy and make the college system extra responsive and aggressive.

Tinubu acknowledged this throughout the maiden convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), Bauchi State, which held on the weekend.

Represented by the Executive Secretary of Tetfund, Architect Sunny ST Echono, the President mentioned below the brand new association, the Federal Ministry of Education and Governing Councils of universities will now play their applicable roles in workers recruitment, somewhat than searching for waivers from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
