Violence disrupted actions forward of the Tinubu–Dikko campaign flag-off within the Funtua Senatorial Zone of Katsina State on Wednesday, leaving a number of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters injured and their autos broken.
Some aggrieved political thugs had been alleged to have attacked supporters travelling to the venue of the occasion.
One of the affected supporters, Abubakar Lawal, mentioned their autos had been attacked by teams of suspected political thugs whereas they had been travelling via Malumfashi to Funtua, the place Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was scheduled to flag off his 2027 re-election campaign.
