Following her lack of ability to have children of her personal, a lady, Mariya Abdullahi, has allegedly poisoned her co-wife’s two children in Takuti neighborhood, Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.
The affected children, aged 4 and 9, had been stated to have drunk a substance suspected to be poison from a cup allegedly given to them by Abdullahi.
One of the children died shortly after ingesting the substance, whereas the second was rushed to the overall hospital, the place she was receiving remedy.
The incident befell on Friday when Abdullahi allegedly gave the children the substance after being inspired to take action by a buddy.

He stated that on sixth November 2026 at about 6am, a report was obtained in Lapai Division that one Mariya Abdullahi of Takuti by way of Lapai administered some substance suspected to be poison to the children of her co-wife.
